Hey ASA Members, next week we will have Apex Alpine Adventures Ltd.back with us at
the Alberta Snowmobile ATV & Off- Road Show for a classroom session of
the AST 1 course on Friday, October 17th from 5-8 pm.

The Class will have room for 50 members and is eligible for the ASA
AST reimbursement program.
You can register for the AST 1 course directly with Apex Alpine- you
will have to pay for the course and then apply for the ASA AST
Reimbursement. If there is space drop ins will also be accepted.

The CSC is happy to announce an AST 1 avalanche training course in the City of Calgary.  is offering an in-person classroom session on December 16th at
If you have never taken an avalanche course or would like to review your skills, this is a great opportunity. 
The class consists of one day in class and a two-day mountain segment.  The days and location of the practical sessions will be discussed at the classroom session.  Contact Apex Alpine to register at  [email protected] or (250) 463-9896.  The course requires a minimum number of participants, so don't wait.  Register by November 30th.  This course qualifies for the ASA reimbursement program.
