La Ligue de Régates d’Hydroplanes, ou Hydroplane Racing League, voit le jour en 2016 sur les bases de l’Association canadienne d’hydroplane (ACHA). Depuis 2011, l’ACHA aura permis au sport de croître, notamment en créant une structure opérationnelle performante, avec le développement d’une réglementation efficace et de nouveaux sites de compétition. The Hydroplane Racing League was created in 2016 on what the Canadian Hydroplane Association (ACHA) had built over the years. Since 2011, the ACHA helped the sport grow by setting an efficient operational framework, implementing clear regulations and finding new racing sites. The HRL is now focused on developing the hydroplane racing industry and taking the sport to another level by giving it a strong image.
