We made one of our bucket lists come true.... Dockdiving into a natural watersource. This one's for you Gunner, Blitzkrieg did not fail to disappoint! 🐾❤️💦

I dreamt of Gunner Friday night, as I have before, but this time he had a message. This time he had a human voice and said "Get up and do the drive. 3 hrs , pfft , you would have done it for me, do it for him, it's okay mom"
I awoke with tears in my eyes.
And a clear direction.
I grabbed Blitz, we jumped in the car , picked up Mom and headed to Niagara Canine Conditioning Centre, Inc. 's June Jumpstart fun competition to support the Humane society. Such a beautiful venue and great weather. Not only did Blitzkreig not disappoint, he had the BIGGEST jump of the competition, 23 FEET 🐾❤️💦 Super proud of this boy and I know Gunner would be too.

Last Sunday we supported SSASO - Sleddog Sports Association of Southwestern Ontario Diva's of the dock! It felt so different without Gunner being there in body but I swear he is always here in spirit!🥹 Our newest team member Blitzkrieg had some great jumps and recieved some beautiful ribbons for his placement, 1st, 4th and a 2nd overall in his class! 🐾❤️💦
Blitzkrieg's best jump of the day was..... 24 FEET 2 INCHES!!!! Super proud of this boy!!! 😍

We have been quiet on this page for a while....

It has taken me awhile to let you all know.

On February 10th , 2023 Gunner went to be reunited with his best buddy in the world, Bam.

My best friend in the whole wide world gone, my heart has been separated from my body for awhile now...
My teammate...

It has been a hard 4 months with so much change in our lives, I dreamt of Gunner friday night and he somehow managed to connect my heart back into my body ❤️

I love you Gunner will be forever grateful for the time we spent together, all the roads and festivals we traveled to and mostly just all of the time we spent by the river, together, just us.

Thank you for teaching each of your pack members something uniquely you, so you continue to live on forever and ever in so many ways.
You were and always will be the best $50 I ever spent ❤️
I will miss you forever Gunny Buns . Until we meet again, I will never forget you, how could I?

Last Sunday, we came out to support
SSASO - Sleddog Sports Association of Southwestern Ontario Diva's of The Dock at K9 Fun Zone. A super hot and super fun day! Gunner, 14 years old now retired no longer jumps but has shown Blitzkrieg 11mths the ropes so he has that covered for Team Black Lightning ;) It felt nice to be back out ❤

We packed up early yesterday morning and headed down to the Canadian Pet Expo in Toronto for the day. This marked 's 12th SEASON dockdiving🐾❤💦
I am just incredibly blessed that at almost 14 years young Gunner is still able to and loves to jump...just not 2 in a row anymore❤ I LOVE YOU GUNNER ❤

Another world invite for Team Black Lightning!
Bitter sweet...we appreciate the invite but Gunner is now retired from dueling as he can no longer see the bumper at the end of the pool. Ahh man, but didn't we have one a hell of a fun ride with this sport? From watching it be premiered at 2014 Dockdogs World Championships to making the finals in 2015, losing, coming back every year and then winning Dueling Dogs world champion class 4 in 2018!!! Thanks so much but we will have to graciously decline
