🔨 Renovation Update: A Look Underneath It All 🔨
We’ve been sharing lots of photos of the exciting changes happening around the St. Thomas Curling Club, but today we're taking you somewhere a little less glamorous, the downstairs change rooms and washrooms!
The ceilings have been completely opened up, and the women's change room will eventually receive a brand-new ceiling as part of the work.
Why open everything up?
Because a renovation of this size isn't just about what you can see on the finished walls.
Behind those ceilings, there are electrical systems, plumbing, ventilation and other infrastructure that all need to be accessed, updated, relocated or examined as the project moves forward.
It's a good reminder of just how much work, and how much disruption, goes into renovating an entire facility.
Our washrooms and change rooms may look a little chaotic right now, but this is all part of the process. Areas throughout the club have had to be opened up so the work can happen properly and safely.
So here's a little glimpse of the underside of our club and everything happening behind the scenes.
It may not be pretty right now... but we're seeing progress everywhere! And someday soon, we'll be looking back at these photos and remembering just how far we've come.
Thanks for following along with us through every dusty, noisy and exciting stage of this renovation!
