The 660 Sportsman Spectacular at St Thomas Dragway exceeded our expectations. The amount of support from the racers, spectators & staff is overwhelming.
Our guests of honour, Shaun & Julie Umscheid, the What? Nooo Waaay guy made the trek from Alberta. They were with us all weekend meeting with their fans & judging competitions. & Shaun testing his own hack if a camera can survive a ride on the back of a jet truck.
Check out the super cool video & give Shaun a follow Shaun Umscheid - What? Nooo Waaay Guy.
& while you’re at it, be sure to follow Julie Umscheid. Her jokes are hilarious & Shaun’s reactions, priceless.
Friday June 12, we had Run What ya Brung, Wheelie Contest & Burnout Contest.
Our commentators & judges were Shaun Umscheid, OSM jet pilot Otis Symon & our local fan fave Scott Lewis.
The longest wheelie was won by Tim Blyde & the highest by Rob Vandermeer.
Tim Blyde donated part of his wheelie winnings back for an organizer’s choice award.
We chose a ‘Hard Luck’ award & it went to Al Terletski. Sorry Al, but maybe this lessens the sting a bit!
