Here’s the thing about Breathwork…

There is SO much more available to you than you think. Breathing? That’s easy.
Conscious breathing? That can feel unfamiliar at first. Maybe even unnatural. Maybe even intimidating.

But the homecoming… that’s something you can never fully describe.

Every person experiences Conscious Connected Breathwork differently…

It can be powerful.
It can be bold.
It can be soft.
It can feel sticky.
It can open you in ways you never imagined.
It can be cathartic.
It can be uncomfortable.
It can be liberating.
It can help you remember.
It can be draining, then relief.
It can become a bridge to creativity.
It can create space to let go + release.
It can bring limiting beliefs, patterns + wounds into awareness.
It can invite clarity.
It can deepen your awareness.
It can reconnect you to the parts of yourself you’ve been too busy, too disconnected or too afraid to feel.

Today I breathed in my own personal session at home, what came up was unexpected and bliss - after a release (thank you full moon 😜) and thanks to a song, my grandparents were on my mind, one memory in particular we were driving down highway 2 to my softball provincials (my grandparents were always at provincials, they were so supporting and proud of me) I remember my grandpa getting frustrated with a car that kept passing us and out of nowhere, my grandma flipped them the bird on our way past…it was out of character and so funny. Today it made me laugh after I shed and felt so at home, so at peace, more tears because I miss them but know they are supporting in their own way.

And sometimes, the most profound part isn’t what happens during the breath…It’s what becomes possible when you return to your life with a little more space inside of you. When you integrate.

Breathwork can do a lot or things, but it can’t do the work for you. You do that…you set your boundaries…you say yes to yourself. It can’t do the work for you, but sure as hell can bring you back to your truth, back to your body, back to slowing down, back to the parts that have been waiting to be felt. Are you ready? A space to come back to yourself, back to your peace. Introducing the beautiful hearts that help shape the event into all it is, creating the energy of the space even more, has me feeling oh so good! Nourishment, heart opening connection, stillness + peace will be flooding The Barn RR104 on September 26.

It brings me so much ease to introduce our 1:1 practitioner in the barn loft (one of the dreamiest spaces of the barn no doubt) Danaka will also be supporting our breathwork ceremony. She is so gentle and kind; a great addition to Mini SOUL Retreat.

I’m so excited to share that this next chapter for AbSOULutely You Wellness is unfolding in Goodfish Lake once again!

My passion for creating safe spaces for healing, connection, and nourishment is now expanding into a beautiful community where I shared my fitness journey several years ago.

Over the next several months, I will be offering wellness experiences for both men and women including HIGH YO (yoga inspired movement) SOUL Connection (dance movement) meditation + breathwork….I will be weaving these practices into retreats + workshops (which will include other facilitators) PLUS we’re dreaming up a special one-day retreat for kids—because learning to slow down, connect with ourselves, and care for our nervous systems is something every generation deserves. Our offerings are designed + curated for YOU.

When we choose to make ourselves a priority, it creates a ripple effect. We show up more present for our families, more connected to our communities, and more grounded in our everyday lives.
