I must give credit to a lady, long dead, named Laura for some early experience in public speaking.
💒I grew up in the Catholic church which required SOMEBODY to do readings in church each Sunday.
☎ Laura was the lady with the thankless job of finding (coercing) someone to do it. When the phone rang on Saturday afternoon at my house, everyone scattered!(We actually had a red phone just like this one.
✝ No one wanted to answer it because no one could say no to Laura (Catholic guilt laid on thick)
🧓This was the only time my mother ever threw us kids under the bus! She hated reading in church more than she loved us, lol.
📖 So I read in church many a Sunday and our church was huge.
Thank you Laura for an early start.
