Something we can’t see in the video is how much progress Brandon has made with his discomfort.
In our second session, without any weights or resistance, I cued him into a position his body didn’t like to be in, and his mid-back seized up for over a week. This got me wondering how long it would take us to be able to make him sprint and do dynamic exercises without the risk of triggering anything.
But Brandon has been particularly diligent, and about halfway through the process, he started getting substantial breakthroughs.
By the end of our sessions, he could do full training and complex motions with no fear of triggering anything anymore.
⬇️ Here’s his experience in his own words:
“Looking back at where I started compared to where I am now, the changes have been bigger than I expected.
Physically, the biggest breakthrough has been finally creating hip extension — something I genuinely didn't think would ever be possible for my body. I've also learned to better manage abdominal pressure, helping me move into a more upright position with far less hip shift. My stride length has improved, movement feels far more effortless, and I'm no longer dealing with the recurring lower back and knee pain that used to limit me.
What surprised me most, though, was everything beyond the physical changes. This mentorship completely changed how I approach movement and problem-solving. It taught me to slow down, ask better questions, and fully understand a problem before trying to solve it. Seeing the theory, the movement on video, and what I was feeling all align made everything click.
A huge thank you to Sam for the patience, guidance, and incredible attention to detail throughout the process. I've learned an incredible amount, both personally and professionally, and I'm excited to keep building from here.”
A huge thanks to you as well for putting in this great work, 💪🏼
