This past Saturday, we hosted our first-ever Women Try Taekwondo event in collaboration with Saint John Taekwondo! It was a great morning of learning the fundamentals of taekwondo and connecting with women from the Saint John area.

A big thank you to Saint John Taekwondo for partnering with us on this event, as well as to the many volunteers who helped make it possible – you ladies were awesome!

Samedi dernier, nous avons organisé notre tout premier événement d’Initiation au taekwondo pour les femmes, en collaboration avec Saint John Taekwondo! Ce fut une excellente matinée consacrée à l’apprentissage des bases du taekwondo et à la rencontre de femmes de la région de Saint John.

Un grand merci à Saint John Taekwondo pour leur collaboration à la réalisation de cet événement, ainsi à toutes les bénévoles qui ont contribué à son succès – vous avez été formidables!

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to She is Active NB / Elle est active NB for their collaboration on the Women Try Taekwondo event held at the Dojang this morning. Their lead, Megan, was instrumental in making this event a success. 😃

To all the ladies who participated, your enthusiasm was inspiring. We could already tell how much more you were learning and doing by the end of the morning! Amazing group. 🤩

To our dedicated women volunteers, Peggy and Ella, who led the group, Caroline, Marie, Michelle, Abigail, and Alisa, who helped with the pad drills amongst other activities, your collective efforts contributed significantly to the event's success as well. 🙏

Last but not least, thank you to Master IlGwon Jang for handing over the reigns to the ladies for the morning and letting us take over!! We had a ton of fun. 😁
