Before we get to our 2026 leadership announcements, we wanted to make a post recognizing the legacy of one of our outgoing captains, Nick House. Nick founded Regiment in 2016, aiming to create more competitive playing opportunities for male-matching players in the province. Under Nick’s leadership, Regiment has consistently punched above its weight, produced countless top-level talents, and maintained a reputation as one of the most spirited teams in the country.
Nick’s skills and dedication have proved invaluable, building partnerships in the community and structuring the program for long-term success. We now have a coaching team, strong finances, connections all over the city for practice fields, sponsorships, and more. These things didn’t materialize out of thin air; they are the result of Nick’s leadership over the last ten years.
Nick will continue as a player on Regiment, but is passing the leadership torch. We will continue the same vision that Regiment was founded on all of those years ago: Inclusivity, a high-performance focus, and Spirit of the Game above all else.
In addition to Regiment, Nick will be attending World Masters Ultimate Championships with Dead Circus this summer, a bucket list accomplishment for any Ultimate player. He’s a key part of their D-line and will be matching up against some of the world’s best!
