Eastern Charlotte is looking for food trucks and mobile food vendors to join us for Summer Fest 2026!

📍 Location: FMHS (Fundy Middle & High School)

Take advantage of a full day of festival activities, entertainment, and community fun while showcasing your menu to hundreds of attendees.

The Eastern Charlotte Festival is scheduled for Saturday, July 11–18 and we are currently looking for a group or business to help make the final day a success!

We are in need of a host for:

Soapbox Derby
Antique Car Show & Shine
Little People's Parade

These are great opportunities to get involved, support community spirit, and be part of one of our most exciting festival traditions.

What a great night at the Annual Eastern Charlotte Bicycle Safety Rodeo! 🚲

A huge thank you to all the participants and volunteers who made the event such a success. We couldn’t do it without Lisa the Community Program Officer, Cat. Gagliano, Eastern Charlotte Fire Rescue, YMCA in Eastern Charlotte, and the St. George Masonic Lodge for generously donating the grand prize bicycle.

Congratulations to Rowan on winning the bike—hope you enjoy every ride! 🎉

🚲 Bicycle Safety Rodeo – Tonight!

Don’t forget the Bicycle Safety Rodeo is happening tonight from 6–7 PM at the Eastern Charlotte Recreational Complex!

Bring your bicycle and helmet and take part in a fun, free evening of:
✔️ Bicycle & helmet safety checks
✔️ Rules of the road
✔️ Skills and obstacle course

This event is brought to you by the RCMP, YMCA, Eastern Charlotte Fire Rescue, and Eastern Charlotte Parks & Recreation.

🏀 Also happening tonight: The YMCA in Eastern Charlotte will have open gym available!

📢 Important Update – Canal Beach Clean-Up - Cancelled

Due to weather, the Canal Beach Clean-Up scheduled for Friday, May 8 has been cancelled.

We know many were looking forward to taking part, and we truly appreciate your willingness to help keep our community clean. We plan to rescheduling later in the month.
