🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – September 30, 2026 🧡

On Wednesday, September 30th, Eastern Charlotte joins communities across Canada in honouring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today, we honour the Survivors of residential schools, the children who never returned home, and their families and communities. We recognize the lasting impacts of residential schools and the importance of listening, learning, and working together toward reconciliation.

We encourage everyone to take time to reflect, learn about the history and legacy of residential schools, and consider how we can all contribute to a future built on understanding, respect, and meaningful action.

🧡 Facility Closure Notice

The Eastern Charlotte Recreation Complex will be closed Wednesday, September 30th, in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
ECRC will reopen Thursday, October 1st, during regular operating hours.
