Cooperstown All-Star Village 2026 – BP Prospects 12U
The BP Prospects 12U team arrived at Cooperstown All-Star Village not knowing exactly what to expect, but from the moment they stepped off the bus for player check-in, they were captivated by the experience. The facility itself is truly remarkable and something that must be seen in person to be fully appreciated.
For these 13 young athletes, the past week created memories that will last a lifetime.
The Games
The boys competed hard over four days of tournament play, facing some of the top teams from across the United States. They matched up against talented clubs from Arizona, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, and Alabama—many of whom were at the end of their seasons and playing at a very high level.
While the team finished the week with a 1–6 record, the scoreboard does not tell the whole story. Several games were highly competitive and could have gone either way. Sometimes the breaks simply do not fall your way, and that is part of the game of baseball.
There were plenty of individual highlights throughout the week. Three players hit their first-ever over-the-fence home runs, while three others added multiple home runs during the tournament. These are achievements the players will never forget.
More Than Baseball
As memorable as the games were, the Cooperstown experience extends far beyond what happens on the field.
The BP Prospects quickly became known around the village for their enthusiasm during pin trading, which may have been the highlight of the week for some players. Between games, the boys enjoyed countless rounds of Blitzball, team meals, Monster shakes, and valuable time together in the bunkhouse. They also had the opportunity to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame and experience the famous Cooperstown bathhouse showers.
One player summed it up best when he said, “That was the funnest shower I’ve ever had.”
A Week to Remember
In the end, the week turned out to be something far greater than the players had expected. The baseball was challenging, the competition was elite, and the experience was unforgettable.
A sincere thank you to Bullettproof Baseball and Coach Chris for providing this incredible opportunity. Most importantly, thank you to the 13 sets of parents whose support, commitment, and sacrifices made this once-in-a-lifetime experience possible for their sons.
The memories made in Cooperstown will stay with these players for years to come. ⚾️🏆
