I am a big advocate of teaching others to keep this way of eating simple. I am not one to overcomplicate my meals for 2 reasons, and these are a big part of helping with my consistency and ability to stay on track.
1. I am definitely not one to moderate certain foods, that’s one of the great things about carnivore, I don’t include certain foods that I have trouble moderating. So why would I try and replicate “carnivore foods” to mimic the ones that I am intentionally trying to stay away from? When I started making carnivore desserts etc, it led to terrible cravings. Keeping my meals simple, allows me to look at food as fuel, rather than entertainment.
2. Simplicity leads to better adherence for me. Easy to make, I know what I am getting in the foods I am eating, and not unknowingly eating a ton of heavy cream, butter and cheese. It’s consistency that we should all be chasing when applying this to any way of eating or lifestyle habit.
