The St.Catharines Wado Kai Karate Club, (est. 1987), teaches traditional Karate with a realistic approach to self defense.

We do not overcrowd our classes. All new inquiries are based on first come, first served.

Starting on Monday, June 8th until June 29th 2026, we are opening our club to people who would like to try our classes and find out what karate is and how we do it.

You are welcome to join us with no obligation or fees. We do require you to fill out a disclaimer form however that we do not share (attached).

Class Times:
From 7 years old to 12 years old

Monday & Thursday from 6:00pm to 7:15 pm

13 years old and up
Monday & Thursday from 7:30pm to 9:00pm

Location:
St. George’s Church Hall
8 Augusta Avenue (corner of Facer)

We do not run classes in July and August, but this will give you an opportunity to learn a bit about us before we start our new season after Labour Day.

I am pleased to announce that in addition to our regular adult classes, this year we are going to offer an on-line class on Fridays from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. The focus will be based on the teaching of Bill Superfoot Wallace.
