Head for the Hills started as a way for our club to give back, and every year it brings runners, walkers, families and survivors together on the trails at White Meadows Farms.

Every dollar raised supports the Brain Injury Association of Niagara and the people and families they help across our region.

Here’s where we’re running this week 👟

Wednesday, 6:30 pm: walk or run from Cat’s Caboose
Saturday, 9 am: Coffee Run from McDonald’s, 1860 Sir Isaac Brock Way
Sunday, 9 am: the Trail Apes head out from Rotary Park

All paces welcome, and new faces especially. Just show up and say hi.

That’s a wrap on our Niagara Ultra donations! 🧡

Our final cheque of the year went to Big Brothers Big Sisters: $6,000 to help match local kids with mentors who show up for them, week after week.

None of this happens without the runners who toed the line, the volunteers who kept the aid stations stocked, and the sponsors who backed us from day one. Every kilometre you covered turned into something real for our community.

Thank you, Niagara. See you on the start line next year. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Tonight! Wednesday run at Cat's Caboose, 6:30 pm.

No Coffee Run this Saturday, October 10. Lots of us are racing the Crystal Beach 5K, so good luck out there! 🏃‍♀️

Trail Apes is on Sunday at 9:00 am. Meet in the parking lot beside Boo's Diner (formerly Butterballs).

Fall donation month! 🍂 The SCRRW donations keep flowing out to our community in Niagara.

This weekend we presented $13,000 to the Bruce Trail Conservancy 💚

The Bruce Trail is Canada's oldest and longest marked footpath, running 900+ km from Queenston Heights right here in Niagara all the way to Tobermory. The Bruce Trail Conservancy is the charity that keeps it going. Their volunteers build and maintain the trail, and they buy and protect land along the Niagara Escarpment so it stays available to everyone
