We are so excited to welcome back Jack & Lea’s Authentic Filipino Food, who have proudly supported the Race by the Sea fundraiser for three years in a row! 🎉

Jack and Lea are proud members of the organization and are always happy to share delicious, authentic Filipino food with everyone who comes out to support this wonderful event.

🐉🌊 MEET THE TEAMS MONDAY— WELCOME, CHARLOTTETOWN DRAGON BOAT TEAM! 🌊🐉

We’re excited to welcome the Charlottetown Dragon Boat Team to the 5th Annual Race by-the-Sea Dragon Boat Festival for the very first time! 🎉

This newly formed Prince Edward Island team came together following the 2nd Charlottetown Dragon Boat Festival and brings together an exciting mix of veteran and seasonal paddlers from the Philippines and Canada, along with new paddlers who have quickly developed a passion for the sport.

What unites them? A shared love of dragon boating, teamwork and community! 💙

The team is looking toward an exciting future — growing its membership, welcoming more paddlers and helping build an even stronger dragon boat community in PEI. They’re looking forward to training, competing and proudly representing Charlottetown and Prince Edward Island throughout the region.

And now they’re bringing that PEI spirit to Katy’s Cove! 🚣‍♀️💦

The countdown is officially on! In just ONE WEEK, paddles will be hitting the water at Katy’s Cove for the 5th Annual Race by-the-Sea Dragon Boat Festival! 💙

Whether you’re paddling, volunteering, or coming down to cheer on the teams, a little preparation will help you enjoy the day. Check out our handy “What to Bring on Race Day” guide before heading to the Cove!

A few important reminders:

🚗 No on-site parking — please use Harry Mallory Sports Field
🐶 No dogs
🚫 No alcohol on team sites
🛍️ Non-registered vendor sales are prohibited
☕🍴 Bring cash for coffee and food vendors on site

And, of course, don’t forget your positive attitude and community spirit! 💙

Come hungry on festival morning! The St. Andrews Scouts will be joining us at the 5th Annual Race by-the-Sea Dragon Boat Festival and serving up breakfast at Katy’s Cove! 🐉🌊
