Wow! What a fantastic weekend spent camping and selling blankets at Smoke N Spurs 2.0 festival!

The vibes were high, the foot traffic was unreal and the sales were great! Another year in the books with this amazing event and we will definitely be back next year!

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday and I also want to wish all the kiddos a safe return back to school today!!

Today is the start to a beautiful weekend and we are setting up over at the Andersons Event Park for another year at Smoke N Spurs 2.0

Grab your cowboy hat, your boots and your hunny with all the money and visit the 50+ vendors that will be showcasing their amazing talent!

Northbound Minky is ready to see all your smiling faces. Gates are open 9-5 Friday-Sunday.

So don’t forget to grab some food, take a walk around the grounds, enjoy the rodeo and swing by the nightly concerts for an amazing end of summer festival!!

Guys!

Have you ever heard about Facebook jail before??….. ya I’m not kidding there is actually a Facebook jail and guess where I was put for a few weeks🤣🤣

I guess someone did not like my update on my health and picture post and it was too much for them…which lead me to not being able to post anything nor message anyone from my page.

I’m currently seeing messages but I’m not able to reply back to anyone so please bear with me while I figure out what I need to do next!

But on a better note Smokes N Spurs weekend starts tomorrow and I’m all set!!!!!

👋 HI GUYS!!!

I’ve had such a wild week over here at Northbound Minky and it had nothing to do with sewing(which I’m so behind on stocking up for a big event happening in Mattawa)

On Thursday I went into surgery to have my great staphenous vein removed from my groin to my knee and along the way they also removed some pretty nasty varicose veins along my calf(top/bottom).

So as you can probably picture- I’m over here hobbling around, trying to rest/elevate my leg as much as I can all while I wrangle two children who need snacks every hour on the dot and a four legged needy dog🤣

On a good note- every day is better so hopefully by tomorrow I can get up and get some stock started for Smokes N Spurs that is happening in Mattawa on Sept 4-6!!

If you don’t have tickets yet- you need to grab yourself some! Not only is there a huge vendors market, childrens activities, food and bars , the rawhide Rodeo but you also get Two nights of amazing country artists hitting the stage🤠

🌅August Update🌅

Well I can’t believe it’s already August and looking at my calander we are going to be swamped this month!!

A few key dates to keep in mind where I may be delayed in answering are as follows:

Aug 17-24—— My family will be heading to Brantford for the week to help my brother and sister in law pack up their home to make the move to Mattawa. I will also be having surgery on Aug 20th so I’m going to be a little groggy for a few days while I try to learn to slow myself down a bit.

Sept 3—- I will be setting up our site at Smokes N’Spurs in Mattawa. The event runs Friday-Sunday so if you’re in the area come by and say HI!!
