🚨⚠️Pressure crack 🚨⚠️ Keep an eye out on Trout Lake.

On Friday afternoon, responded to a motorized snow vehicle (MSV) crash on the OFSC A1 trail in North Bay. The rider suffered non-life-threatening injuries after their MSV struck a pressure crack, causing them to be thrown from the machine. Their leg became trapped in the MSV’s track.

OPP officers and paramedics worked together to safely extricate the rider before an Ornge air ambulance landed on the frozen lake to transport them to the hospital.

Even experienced riders can encounter unexpected hazards on the trails. Ice conditions can change quickly, and pressure cracks can be difficult to see. Always ride with caution, scan the terrain ahead, and be prepared for sudden obstacles. ^kb

Vendredi après-midi, le est intervenu sur une collision impliquant une motoneige sur le sentier A1 de l’OFSC à North Bay. Le conducteur a subi des blessures ne mettant pas sa vie en danger après que sa motoneige ait frappé une fissure de pression, le projetant hors du véhicule. Sa jambe est restée coincée dans la chenille de la motoneige.

Les agents de l’OPP et les paramédics ont travaillé ensemble pour l’extraire en toute sécurité avant qu’un hélicoptère d’Ornge n’atterrisse sur le lac gelé afin de le transporter à l’hôpital.

Même les motoneigistes expérimentés peuvent rencontrer des dangers imprévus sur les sentiers. Les conditions de glace changent rapidement et les fissures de pression peuvent être difficiles à voir. Soyez toujours vigilant, surveillez le terrain devant vous et préparez-vous à faire face à des obstacles soudains. ^kb

We are short staffed today in the shop.

The shop will be closed Friday August 2nd reopening August 12th as we take some time off to spend with our family. The guys will be working in the shop keeping the current work queue moving, and our farm sitter will be on site however no drop offs/ pickups or invoicing will be available. Eric will respond to messages when we return!
