Recreation Department Municipality of Russell Binscarth Our mandate is to provide diverse recreational programming for area residents in the Municipality of Russell-Binscarth.

The Russell & District Recreation Commission was formed through a partnership of the Municipality of Russell Binscarth and Municipality of Riding Mountain West. The partnership includes representation from Park West School Division and the Russell Agricultural Society. Mission:

• To provide recreational and leisure programming for area residents

• To assist with the development and maintenance of recreational facilities

• To assess educational needs and work cooperatively to provide
opportunities

• To cultivate an awareness and appreciation for the arts and culture

• To assist non-profit organizations with fund-raising projects

• To provide assistance and direction in Special Event Planning

• To provide assistance in grant research and application completion

October Schedule. Please note that the first 2 nights are at SILVERTON Community Centre as the hall in Russell is in use. We will be using the Silverton hall as a backup space when the hall isn't available.

Healthy Baby postponed until next Thursday, Sept 24 from 11am-1pm. Same building. NEW room! Please park at the back of the Russell Memorial Multiplex in the rink lot. Enter the building and turn left to the elevator and take it up to the concourse and the Legion Room is on your right.
