Hello Rossburn and the surrounding rural Communities!

I’d like to introduce myself.

My name is Véronique (Mowbray) Mushumanski.
I am the owner of V’s Dance Academy dance school out of Russell MB.

I’d like to take this opportunity to announce that I aim to expand my business and offer my dance teaching services in the Rossburn community starting in the near future of 2026!

V’s Dance Academy provides dance lessons for:
Creative Dance (ages 4&5)
Ballet (ages 6-14)
Jazz (ages 6-14)
Tap (ages 6-14)
Hip Hop (ages 9-14)
Celtic/Irish Dance (ages 9-14 + adults)
Belly Dance & Line Dancing (for older teens and adults)

A little information on myself:

My passion for the arts began at a very young age, especially the art of Dance.

Growing up, I began my dance training with Belva Wade Zentner at the Wade Dance Centre in Russell, MB and in Esterhazy, SK. I trained in numerous styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary,
Lyrical, Hip Hop, Broadway/Musical Theater, Ballet Pointe, Celtic and Belly Dance.
I also attended Wade Dance Camp for many years in the summertime. During my training, I assisted Belva in teaching dance to the younger age groups, and in several communities such as Saint-Lazare and in Rossburn MB.

After graduating high school, I continued my education at the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria BC and graduated with a Certificate in the Performing Arts studying Dance, Vocals, and Drama/Stage Acting in 2012.

I’m beyond thrilled to be back teaching dance again and to be continuing providing dance lessons in the surrounding rural areas.

Online registration will be released Mid June 2026 for the 2026/2027 season.

Meet your 2026 PDF Adjudicators…

LINDSAY HARPHAM

Originally from Saskatchewan, Lindsay Harpham is an accomplished Contemporary Artist, Dance Educator, Choreographer, and Adjudicator based between Saskatchewan, and Vancouver, BC. Lindsay has trained in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, and Partnering and has completed her R.A.D teaching certification, and Bachelor of Kinesiology, which both greatly inform her teaching. Lindsay choreographs for both competitive and recreational studios throughout Canada and teaches master classes internationally for youth and adults.

Since graduation from training programs in Vancouver, and Toronto, she has worked with companies such as Red Sky Performance, Larchaud Dance Project, Gadfly, ACE Dance Theatre, Nimii Project, Hit and Run Productions, Nickelodeon, and Remai Modern. Grateful to have experienced professional dance tours throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia, she searches for opportunities that feel comparably inspiring.

Amongst her most notable moments, CINARS opening, Australia Joint Dance Congress, performances with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, have expanded her perception of what is possible as an artist.

While pursuing professional dance, she graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology, which she combines with her dance experience through teaching injury prevention and cross-training seminars to dancers at SFU, Modus, and Source Dance Company. She currently works at the Performance Clinic at Ballet BC headquarters, working with dancers and other athletes.

Lindsay most recently co-founded where we collective with fellow dancer and sister Denae Harpham, which runs a sleep-away dance camp in Saskatchewan for students and teachers.

Lindsay brings her passion for art to each professional experience and hopes to always make a positive impact on the young aspiring artists she has the privilege of teaching and adjudicating.

🌷V’s Dance Academy - Russell Ballet group had the pleasure to perform in the Final Award concert of the North Western Marquette Festival this afternoon.

VDA Russell Ballet piece - “Colours of the Wind” received the Silver Award for the Ballet Dance Group, ages 6-10.
So proud of these lovely young dancers!Continue to work hard, and keep striving for the best. 🩰🥰💗

✨Thank you to the North Western Marquette Festival and its many volunteers that make this thrilling experience happen.
A very special Thank you to Amber Barlow for accommodating last minute program changes so all dancers were able to take part performing in the Festival!

The Arts are so very important in the development of our children, and the importance of having a venue to express and showcase these talented young people is equally as important.
Again, thank you to the North Western Marquette Festival volunteers in all sectors of the Arts! 🩰🎭🎶

V’s Dance Academy attended the Dance portion of the Festival on Friday March 6th and Saturday March 7th, and had an awe-inspiring learning experience.

I would like to share how proud I am of ALL my dancers from V’s Dance Academy…👏
Your performances were heartwarming and I thank you! 🥰

Festivals are a great tool to help in the development of not just young performers, but for young teachers as well. The experience is truly valued and I wish all the best to all involved in helping to make this happen. We are extremely fortunate to have a local event such as this.
Big thank you to parents for your dedicated commitment, taking time off work, re-arranging schedules, and driving your children to attend this event. 💓
