🚨 GROSSE NOUVELLE AU CLUB! 🚨
Après des mois et des mois de discussions et de négociations avec la Ville, des retours à la planche à dessin, des ajustements, des va-et-vient avec le fournisseur… **on peut finalement vous l'annoncer : le Club a un tout nouveau compresseur!
Et croyez-nous, ça n'a pas été simple.
À un certain moment, tout ce dont on avait besoin, c'était 3 petits pouces de plus…

Bon. Maintenant que c'est fait, continuons.
Ces fameux trois pouces nous ont forcés à revoir certains plans, à retourner à la table à dessin et à trouver des solutions avec la Ville et le fournisseur du compresseur.
Il y a eu beaucoup, BEAUCOUP de travail derrière ce projet, réalisé par une véritable équipe de feu.
On tient particulièrement à souligner le travail immense de Michel Huot, qui a investi énormément de temps et d'énergie dans ce dossier. Sans son implication, sa persévérance et les innombrables suivis effectués au cours des derniers mois, on ne serait probablement pas en train de vous annoncer cette excellente nouvelle aujourd'hui.
Un énorme merci également à tous ceux et celles qui ont contribué, de près ou de loin, à faire avancer ce projet.
Après tout ce travail, le nouveau compresseur est finalement là et prêt à faire sa part pour nous offrir de belles conditions de glace pour les années à venir.
Bref : on avait besoin de 3 pouces… et on a fini avec un nouveau compresseur.
On va appeler ça une victoire.

🚨 BIG NEWS AT THE CLUB! 🚨
After months and months of discussions and negotiations with the City, trips back to the drawing board, adjustments, and plenty of back-and-forth with the compressor supplier… we can finally announce it: the Club has a brand-new compressor!
And believe us, it wasn’t easy.
At one point, all we needed was 3 more little inches…
That’s what she said.
Okay. Now that we got that out of the way, let’s move on.
Those famous three inches forced us to revisit some of the plans, head back to the drawing board, and work with the City and the compressor supplier to find solutions.
There was a lot — and we mean A LOT — of work behind this project, carried out by an incredible team.
We especially want to recognize the tremendous amount of work put in by Michel Huot, who dedicated countless hours and an enormous amount of energy to this project. Without his involvement, persistence, and the countless follow-ups he handled over the past several months, we probably wouldn’t be sharing this great news with you today.
A huge thank-you as well to everyone who contributed, directly or indirectly, to making this project happen.
After all that work, the new compressor is finally here and ready to do its part in providing us with great ice conditions for many years to come.
Bottom line: we needed 3 inches… and ended up with a brand-new compressor.
We’ll call that a win.
