What a beautiful day for football! Don't forget, our Atoms kickoff at 1:30pm at Curtis Field against Lacombe Chargers. Then again, at 2:30pm against Red Deer Kinsmen Bucks! So come on down and cheer on our Jr. Rebels in their first home game 🎉🎊

We are sad to inform everyone, that we have to cancel our Football Day on September 19. There has been some referee issues and we have had to move our Pee-Wee and Bantam Jr Rebels games. Once we have a new date, we will update everyone!

But you all are in luck! There still is a weekend packed of football on our home field 🏈
The Atoms will still play on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Kickoff is at 1:30pm against Lacombe Chargers. Then again at 2:30pm against Red Deer Kinsmen Bucks.
Sunday our Bantam's kickoff the morning at 11:00am against Mountain View Football, The Carstairs Tigers.
Then our Pee-Wee's kickoff at 1:30pm against Red Deer Kinsmen Bucks.
So come on out and cheer on our Jr. Rebels this weekend!

Parent volunteers are the backbone of youth sports. Your time, energy, and dedication make every practice, game day, and team event possible.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who volunteer their time throughout the season to make our fundraising events, jamborees, Football Days, practices, and game days happen.
Whether you’re cooking burgers for a team event, running the chains, painting lines, helping set up, or simply lending a hand whenever needed — we appreciate every minute of your time and every bit of effort you give.

To our Equipment Manager, Team Managers, Trainers, Assistant Coaches, and Head Coaches — we see the countless hours you put in both on and off the field. The knowledge, hard work, patience, and dedication you give to every athlete and every play do not go unnoticed. Your commitment helps inspire our athletes to show up, work hard, and give it their all every time they hit the field.

To our Board members — we see the tireless work you do behind the scenes to make all of this possible. The late nights, weekends, countless conversations, planning, organizing, and year-round commitment are a huge part of what keeps our program moving forward. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.

As we head into the long weekend, we want to remind everyone, that all 3 of our Jr. Rebels teams, will be in Drumheller tomorrow, for a fun full day of football! If you have nothing to do! Drive out to Drumheller and cheer on our home teams! We know they would love to see you there! If not, we hope you all have a fabulous long weekend!

As we kickoff into our third week of football, we want to give a big THANK YOU to Rahul, Arora and the staff of 711. They helped us close out our second week, with pizza and some GIANT slurpee cups for all our athletes, trainers and coaches! The look on all our athletes faces when they saw those GIANT cups was priceless! So again, thank you for the delicious pizza and slurpee cups!

As we go into our third week of football, we want to welcome all our Jr. Rebels back from their holidays, we hope you are all rested up and ready for some football 🏈
We still have registration open for Atoms, Peewee and Bantam. Registration closes September 15, 2026, so It’s not to late to join football!
If you have a child, wanting to give it a try, please reach out! Coach Barry Simon and Coach Mike Cochran will be heading to Pioneer School and St. Matthew Catholic School, Wednesday September 2, 2026 to talk about football with the kids and answer questions. They will be at Pioneer Middle School, during lunch hour and then at St. Matthew Catholic School RMH during last block. They will be jumping from classroom to classroom spreading the Rocky Mountain House & District Minor Football Association word!
