We are excited to welcome Francis Brière to the Clarence-Rockland Crush family as our U16 Head Coach for the 2026–2027 season! We look forward to an exciting season ahead and are thrilled to have Francis leading our U16 team.

Message from Francis :
My name is Francis Brière, and I am excited to be coaching U16 Crush hockey team. I have been coaching minor hockey for the past 16 years and have spent 21 years as a teacher. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping young people develop both on and off the ice.
As a coach, my focus will be on developing strong decision-making skills, discipline, and hockey fundamentals. I believe that success comes from making smart choices, working hard while at the rink, and continually improving as players and teammates.
Most importantly, I am committed to creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment where every player feels valued and supported. When players trust each other, respect the game, and give their best effort, success will naturally follow. I look forward to working with each of you and helping our kids grow as hockey players and as young leaders.

Je m’appelle Francis Brière et je suis heureux d’être l’entraîneur de l’équipe U16 Crush cette saison. Je coach l’hockey mineur depuis 16 ans et je travaille dans l’éducation comme enseignant depuis 21 ans. Tout au long de ma carrière, j’ai eu comme passion d’aider les jeunes à se développer, autant sur la glace qu’à l’extérieur de l’aréna.
Comme entraîneur, je mettrai l’accent sur le développement de la prise de décision, de la discipline et des habiletés fondamentales au hockey. Je crois que le succès repose sur des choix intelligents, une éthique de travail soutenue à l’aréna et un désir constant de s’améliorer comme joueur et comme coéquipier.
Plus important encore, je m’engage à créer un environnement sécuritaire, respectueux et positif où chaque joueur se sent valorisé et soutenu. Lorsque les joueurs se font confiance, respectent le jeu et donnent leur maximum, le succès suit naturellement.
J’ai hâte de travailler avec chacun d’entre vous et d’aider nos jeunes à grandir, non seulement comme joueurs de hockey, mais aussi comme jeunes leaders.
