Last minute off ice training
Hey everyone
Riverton minor hockey has decided to put on off ice / Dryland training sessions over the next few weeks into August, While that’s all getting set up as far as structure/registration etc we have decided to open a free session tomorrow Friday July 10 to showcase a bit of what will be offered. This session will be open for drop ins from 5-8pm, and will consist of stretching, balance exercises , dryland exercises focused on speed , agility, and conditioning, there will be hockey exercises focusing on stick handling , shooting for speed , consistency, and accuracy. If this interests you or anyone you know come by the rink or field beside if weather / mosquitoes permits between 5-8 pm tomorrow. The following Friday and every Friday after that is when the official off ice training program will begin and registration for it will be out this weekend with all the details.
Bring proper shoes, water bottle , stick and gloves if wanting to practice shooting and stick drills (limited number of extra sticks at the rink)
Thank you and hope to see you there!!
