This Horse ....... so I just park her in the aisle with her soak boot and some hay while I clean out her stall. Oh and also she is in front of the open door of the barn ‼️
THIS is one of the reasons she is one of a kind and no wonder I break into tears when something bad happens to her. ❤❤ But we do miss Kevanne........

Update on Honey. The abscess finally blew out on Saturday afternoon. Video was taken Sunday evening. A huge thanks to all who expressed concern during this. Special thanks to neighbor and friend Kevanne. So glad the ole gray mare is on the mend. ❤

So this is what a horse with an abscess in the hoof can look like. They are extremely sore. The challenge is to draw it out so it can burst and drain. It is so difficult to see them in so much pain. 😥❤🐴

So Honey's abscess came back ........ really bad this time. Started Wednesday night.........been soaking it since then. Late today it finally blew out again......

So this is what I feed the ole gray mare when trying to get some bute into her via grain. There is also sweetened apple sauce in there.
