We've wrapped up Ottawa Welcome 1 and 2 after a challenging two weeks, primarily due to the weather. We're grateful for the warmth and dry conditions now. Our riders' commitment is exemplary; they arrived early every day, even in cold weather, to prepare. We're thankful for the parents' support as well. Highlights included Lionheart and Juliette's win in the 3'3 junior/amateur hunter section in week one. Beaverwood Blue Jay and Cassandra won a large pony trip and the B flat. Poetry in Motion and Charlotte moved to the Children's Hunter, securing ribbons in a competitive group. Casino Z and Olivia also competed in the Children's Hunter, winning prizes. Check My Ride and Erin successfully moved up to the 1.20m, with Link's first outing at this height being a success. Curiosity Counts and Olivia had a strong showing in the mediums, and Olivia won the B flat. Poetry in Motion and Ru won a class in the Child/Adult Beginner Hunter, which was Ru's first gold show. And Tintoretto and Erin competed in the 3’6 High Performance Hunters both weeks. The first week they won a prize in every class! The 2nd week they competed in the Hunter Derby winning 9th place.

Our team launched our show season at the Fiddlers at The Park Trillium show last weekend, and our riders excelled in challenging weather. We're proud of our group. We're off to a strong start.
