Vancouver Academy of Dance The Vancouver Academy of Dance (VAD) offers quality training in multi-disciplines from Ballet to Bre All dancers from pre-school age up to adult are welcome.

The Vancouver Academy of Dance (VAD) has been Richmond’s premier dance school for over 27 years. Our world-class instructors offer a multi-disciplinary curriculum including ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, musical theatre, tap, ballroom and acrobatics. We also teach traditional Chinese Dance, for which we are internationally acclaimed. VAD was founded to inspire creativity, develop potential, promote cultural diversity, and foster an appreciation for the performing arts within the community. We provide high-caliber dance education in a friendly, professional and nurturing environment. Students are encouraged to reach their full potential while learning to become versatile, technically proficient and expressive dancers.
