PRAY FOR JAPAN

🇯🇵 KUMAMOTO EARTHQUAKE UPDATE

Search and rescue operations are continuing after the magnitude 7.1 earthquake that struck Kumamoto Prefecture on July 28, registering Japan’s highest seismic intensity of 7.

According to the latest international report, at least 18 people are reported to have died and more than 60 were injured. Several people remain unaccounted for.

At AEON Mall Kumamoto, approximately 3,000 shoppers were safely evacuated before an explosion occurred. Four fatalities have been reported at the facility, while rescue efforts continue.

Another strong tremor measuring magnitude 5.8 and lower 5 on Japan’s seismic intensity scale was recorded late Wednesday. No tsunami threat was reported.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected. Please remain alert and follow official safety instructions.
