We broke a record this morning at the Richmond Hill Lawn Bowling Club

We had 19 bowlers for our Saturday 4321 x 2 games league this morning. Never this many in a really longtime.

Another record, all 6 of the first game winners, didn't win the 2nd game. So we had 12 game winners out of 19. That means our lawn bowlers are equally skillful. Pretty cool.

Buckle up folks, the show is about to begin!

In about two hours, bowls becomes the first sport to start competition at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, and Team Canada is ready.

Yesterday we hosted our annual Marshall Trophy Tournament. Special thanks to, Marshall Funeral Home Richmond Hill, our long time, loyal sponsor. Mother Nature was at her best with clear skies, warm temperatures and low humidity. Thanks to the 12 teams who participated for your support Of Richmond Hill Lawn Bowling Club. Also thanks to those volunteers that help to make our tournaments possible. See the result in the photos below.

Today was our New Bowlers Tournament for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year bowlers. Thanks to Terry Knight for organizing. Bowlers played 2 six end games. Thanks to the volunteer coaches who helped by showing the players the ropes of tournament play,. Weather was great and a good time was had by all.

Playing at Windsor Lawn Bowling Club this Saturday in the Ontario Lawn Bowls Association Men's Pairs Provincial Championship.

We won our first game ... yay!

Drop by all you Essex and Kent County friends and check us out between 9am and 4pm.
