Hoping to see a huge turn out for our first annual 'Ladies Ride' - this is not a clinic, there will be no guiding or instruction - it is just a space to come out and meet all the other lady shredders out there and hopefully grow your riding group!
Meeting girls with similar riding abilities and interests and making new friendships is what this sport is all about. There will also be some snacks and beverages - thanks to Full Speed Rentals and discounts on gear and lots of swag and give-aways.

Great way to kick off the season ladies, let's rally and have a good showing!

Time to start prepping for the winter - one important step is to do your annual avalanche awareness training. BRP Ski-Doo is sponsoring a series of Avalanche Awareness Training sessions at dealers near you as part of their Responsible Rider program - make sure you take a look and attend one in your area. These are free events and a great way to get your head in the game before the season starts!

If you want to further your education, make sure to check out all the resources and courses available at Avalanche Canada - my recommendation is to take these courses with your regular riding partners so that you are all on the same page!

Snowmobile coach and guide, Nadine Overwater offers sled clinics for women in the backcountry mountains of BC. Advanced and beginners can learn how to ride powder by a professional female rider.

Charity Ride Update!!!

We have raised over $3000 already with participant donations.
There are some amazing raffle prizes coming in from all the local businesses as well which I will start to advertise over the coming days.

Raffle table will be open to anyone who wants to come party at the Rivercity Pub with us after :)

Proceeds are going to the Youth Access Fund this year - which helps underprivileged kids get access to sports and recreation

This year is teeing up to be a phenomenal event and looking forward to seeing everyone out for the event. So many returning faces, I am so grateful that everyone is willing to give so much for this event...including the participants, the guides who donate their time, the pros who give their day up to ride with everyone, the local businesses who give us all kinds of swag. Such a big day of giving and paying it back to the community!
