The aurora borealis shines bright on Thanksgiving, putting on a beautiful show for us to appreciate! Particles slamming into our atmosphere at 45 million mph transforming kinetic energy into visible light. Sometimes it all falls into place with a clear, dark, moonless night. Many times its beauty will remain hidden and not be seen, but that does not make it any less powerful.

There will be times when everything lines up right for you, you will feel like a shining light and it will be glorious! But for the other times, remember you are still putting out a tremendous energy into the world and transforming, your power doesn't come from being seen.

Have you ever stood next to a glacier? They are mesmerising to me and standing on one always helps me gain perspective. I took my dog to her first glacier and she seemed to come to some deep realizations. We shared a moment of understanding that was beautiful, until she made me slip on a snowy moraine and the moment was gone.

Climbing Vertical Poetry (10b, roughly 350m) with . A must do for any Revelstoke climber! These big walls really give some perspective on how small we really are, yet how much we can accomplish when we try :) Even though it is fully bolted, it still has a big mountain feel with some airy traverses - reckon you would be smiling or shaking (or both!) walking across these ledges?

I think this was my 4th time on this route and I still enjoy it. Good memories from before the wildfire smoke rolled in! Stay safe everyone xx

Great fun testing our skills & comfort levels on the canoe! Juno absolutely loved running along side us on land and island hopping to keep up with us :)

Do we know what we are doing in a canoe? Definitely lots of room for improvement but know enough to give it a go! You don't have to wait until you are 100% ready to dive in. It was a safe spot, we tied everything down and the water was comfortable to swim in case we did go over.
