In Memory of Jeremy Lalande

The Regina Climbing Centre will close early at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 2.

That evening, we will be opening our space to those who knew Jeremy and would like to gather together, share memories, and remember our friend.

There is no formal program or expectation — simply a space for our climbing community to come together, spend time with one another, and remember Jeremy.

Whether you climbed with him, worked with him, adventured with him, or simply knew him through our community, you are welcome.

THE FALL OF FAME comp is happening September 19th on a Saturday. The format will be 5 on 5 off.

Starting at 9:30am - 5:00pm
The prices are $20 for members and $25 for non members.

There will also be a BBQ fundraiser for our comp team, starting at 11am.

This competition will also be used to qualify for the RCC CUP FINALS.

Congratulations to Marcus Hall and Victoria Hall for placing first overall and securing their spots in the RCC Cup Final!

Congratulations to our Summer Slam Round 4 podium finishers! Our setters sure turned up the heat for the final round. Thank you to everyone that competed!

Jeremy Lalande is a friend and climber at the Regina Climbing Centre. He has gone missing. His last known contact was to his landlord on July 9, 2026. He was leaving for a climbing/hiking trip on the 10th. The location of his hike/climb and means of travel are unknown. Please share this so we can find Jeremy and get him home. If anyone has seen him please contact the authorities in Calgary and/or Parks Canada.

Congrats to this week's Summer Slam podium finishers!

Remember, the overall P2-P6 athletes in the Open category will be placed into the Wild Card Pool!

The final round of the Summer Slam will be next week on July 27th. We hope to see you guys there!

We had another great week with our Bugaboos Climbing Camp (Ages 7-9)!! A ton of fun was had by these amazing young climbers even if our hands were pretty sore by the end!
