The Cody Grimes Memorial Race Weekend, presented by SaskTel , begins tomorrow at WF Botkin Raceway!

We've switched things up with a new race format, organized a Father's Day Breakfast for all drivers and mechanics, and have a few more surprises planned throughout the weekend.

Whether you're competing, volunteering, or cheering from the sidelines, we're excited to spend the weekend with our incredible racing community.

From a refreshed race format to a special Father's Day Breakfast for our drivers and mechanics, we've got an exciting weekend planned both on and off the track.

🏁 Cody Grimes Memorial Weekend – June 20 & 21 🏁

The South Sask Kart Club is excited to welcome drivers from across the Prairies to WF Botkin Raceway in Regina for our annual Cody Grimes Memorial Weekend!

We’re extending a special invitation to our friends from our surrounding clubs to come join us for one of our biggest race weekends of the season.

⛺ Free camping on-site all weekend

🍔 Eddie’s BBQ will be on-site throughout the weekend, serving up great food for racers, crews, and spectators.

📅 Weekend Schedule
• Saturday – P-Pick Heat Races
• Sunday – Prefinals & Finals

🥞 Complimentary Pancake Breakfast – Sunday
Available exclusively to drivers, mechanics, immediate family members of drivers, and event volunteers.

Club Regulations to Note:
• Vega Reds or Mojo D2s for Briggs classes
• Mojo D5s for DD2/Rotax
• Red carb slides for Junior 1 Briggs

Whether you’re looking for extra seat time, great competition, or a fun weekend at the track, we’d love to see some new faces on the grid.

Drivers from Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and beyond are welcome. Let’s make this year’s Cody Grimes Memorial Weekend one to remember. We’d love to see competitors from our neighbouring clubs make the trip and battle it out with our local racers! 🌟

In just a few days, the South Sask Kart Club will come together for one of our most important events of the season: the Cody Grimes Memorial Race, Presented by SaskTel

The weekend honours a friend, racer, and dedicated member whose passion helped shape our club for years to come. His legacy lives on in every race weekend, every volunteer effort, and every new member welcomed into our community.

Thank you to SaskTel for their support in helping us continue this tradition and celebrate Cody's lasting impact on our club.

It's an opportunity for our club to come together and honour someone who helped shape the South Sask Kart Club into the community it is today. Cody's passion for karting, dedication to the club, and willingness to lend a hand left a lasting impact that continues to be felt by racers, volunteers, and families alike.
