This is our first weekend of the travel club season, and we are playing in the Spartan Premier Classic in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

It has been months of training, practicing, learning and competing amongst ourselves to prepare for this moment. The boys are hungry to play, compete and continue growing together.

Our Xcite AthleticS program is built differently. We focus heavily on advanced fundamentals, proper mechanics, basketball IQ, discipline, teamwork and long-term athlete development. Our mandate is not just about winning games today, but preparing athletes to compete at higher levels tomorrow while building confidence, character, accountability and respect for the game. We develop players other programs want.

Our 15U team is made up of athletes between 13–15 years old. They finished 4th this weekend while learning, adapting and growing quickly against older and more experienced competition.

Our 17U team is made up primarily of 15 and 16-year-old athletes playing up in 17U Gold competition. They have earned their way into the finals tonight at 5:00 PM at Central Collegiate in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Both teams are hungry to learn, improve and continue pushing themselves to the next level. Good luck fellas — keep growing, keep competing and trust the process.

Next stop: the BSI Club Championship next weekend in Regina, Saskatchewan.
