Shinmura Judo

Shinmura Judo Shinmura Judo is a volunteer-based organization registered with Judo Saskatchewan & Judo Canada. "JUDO MAKES PEOPLE"!

We work to promote the Olympic Sport of Judo and provide the opportunity to develop recreational, beginner, advanced and elite level athletes from ages 4 and up, in a fun and safe environment. Judo has a wide range of appeal a sport, an art, a discipline, a recreational past time, a social activity, a fitness program, a means of self-defense and a way of life. One of the distinguishing aspects of Judo is how its basic values and principles translate into a way of life.

DokuMe Transition Update
Judo Saskatchewan, along with Judo Canada, is continuing the transition to DokuMe, our new national membership registration platform for the 2026–2027 season.

Moving from one registration platform to another takes time, and there are bound to be a few bumps along the way. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we work through these growing pains together.

We’re confident that, in the long run, DokuMe will be a valuable platform for our clubs and members.

For now, we ask for a little patience, a little understanding, and a lot of teamwork. We’re all learning this together β€” and we’ll get there together.πŸ₯‹

We’re excited to get Regional Training rolling again this fall!

Regional Training is a great opportunity for athletes to train with other Saskatchewan judoka, challenge themselves, and continue developing their skills.

We have a great lineup of sessions running September through December, with training opportunities in Regina, Moose Jaw and Saskatoon for both Developmental and High Performance athletes.

A huge thank you to Control Judo, Regina Y, Shinmura, and Saskatoon Judo for hosting and helping make these opportunities possible.
