Congratulations to our community partners, the National Affordable Housing Corporation (NAHC), on successfully opening four new affordable housing units in Rosewood yesterday.

"Expanding our affordable rentals to persons served by our partners at Creative Options Regina (COR) was an easy decision for the NAHC," National Affordable Housing Corporation Chief Executive Officer Tyler Mathies said. "COR is well-known for supporting successful independence through in-home living for persons with intellectual disabilities in the community and thanks to this collaboration, eight persons supported by COR now have access to some of the highest quality affordable housing in the province."

This milestone is a testament to the power of collaboration in addressing critical housing needs. Rosewood is proud to be an inclusive neighborhood for all.

📣Attention Homebuyers! Today, the government unveiled two key initiatives set to positively impact the housing sector!

1. The PST Rebate for New Home Construction will be reinstated, offering a return of 42% of PST paid, which translates to about 2.5% of the total house price (excluding land value) for new homes. These cost savings for homebuyers will be retroactive to April 1, 2023.

2. Additionally, a new "Secondary Suite Program" has been introduced to support homeowners in covering the costs of building rental suites within their primary residences.
