Congratulations to Freya Millar, 2026-27 University of Regina Chancellor’s Scholar! 🎓
A recent graduate of Semiahmoo Secondary School in Surrey, British Columbia, Freya has built a strong reputation as a leader, teammate, and community supporter. As communications officer for her school’s Graduation Council, she helped foster school spirit and bring her graduating class closer together.
Freya has also captained her Coastal FC soccer team for the past four years, demonstrating leadership, determination, and a passion for teamwork both on and off the field. Not only that, she also gives back to her community as an assistant coach with an adaptive soccer program for youth with disabilities, helping create inclusive opportunities for young athletes.
As a Chancellor’s Scholar, Freya will join the Faculty of Arts - University of Regina to study Political Science while competing with the University of Regina Women’s Soccer Team.
