For those following the news there was a forest fire near Red Lake. We are relived that the fire is under control and our operation was not impacted or damaged. I wanted to thank our many guest for the kind notes and keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. A special thank you to the MNRF and firefighters for their hard work.

It was made official late last week that the border will stay closed which means the loss of our entire season. The border closure has officially been extended until August 21 and with the 14 day quarantine requirements currently in place until August 31 it is clear that travel will not return to normal in time to run even a partial season.
