In my blog this week I talked about how a beginner can get started in their fitness journey.
I get asked all the time about how to get in shape, so they can train with me.
But thats not how it works, you don’t get in shape to start training; You start training to get in shape.
Instead, what I tell people to focus on, is to build a fitness foundation so that their bodies can handle the stress of working out.
What’s a fitness foundation?
It’s a set of habits that include drinking enough water, having a balanced diet, going for regular walks, and having restful sleep.
