AVA Submission Grappling in Cochrane was a great experience for our team this weekend!

Proud of every athlete who stepped on the mats representing Raymond Martial Arts Academy. Every single one of our competitors brought home a medal, with multiple gold medals and strong performances all around. 🥇🥈

What impressed us the most was not just the medals, but the way our athletes competed. We saw dominant matches, technical control, heart, and constant pressure from start to finish. Some of our competitors ended up losing in overtime decisions based on the “fastest escape” rule after clearly controlling most of the fight. While that competition format may not be our favorite, our team still showed incredible skill and determination throughout the event.

Win or lose, this is how champions are built — by stepping up, competing hard, learning, and growing together.

Very proud of the team, the families, and the support from everyone at the academy. The future is bright for Raymond Martial Arts Academy! 🔥💪
