HI EVERYONE!! I wanted to take this time and thank everyone who stepped up to help our fundraiser. We had a Facebook fundraiser going on and a go fund me page set up because the pandemic has simply taken its toll on my business but on the whole tourism industry all across bc. Unfortunately government funding and grants that have been promised by the government to our industry seems to be the industry that is having the most difficult time actually recieving the money so I had to reach out in order to save my business and the homes of 8 families that call this home. The appreciation I have for all you who donated cash , time , items to sell words of encouragement thank you very much . The actual numbers dont reflect properly because many donated directly so we could save money on fees and be able to access the funds promptly. ❤❤❤ the actual total raised came out to 10,375 and now we have the government funding finally on it's way 🤞 no more hick ups and I know some of you want to still donate but I'm going to ask you not because I feel we are in a good workable spot now . HOWEVER if you know another small business please help them and give that donation to them. 🙏 This was one of the hardest and humbling experiences having to ask the community I love to help us while there are so many in need. I was able to get extensions on certain payments and the 10,000 that was raised was able to cover the most important outstanding issues. So thank you from all of at SOUL STRENGTH HOTEL AND CABINS. ❤❤❤ Moving forward . Time to stand together. Namaste
