Dragon Lake Paddlers

Dragon Lake Paddlers PADDLE STRONG * LIVE LONG
Located in beautiful Quesnel, BC, we currently have 2 dragonboats.

Paddling fees:
One night a week……either a Monday or a Wednesday…..a fee of $110 (this includes insurance fee of $25.00)

Two nights a week….Monday and Wednesday…..a fee of $150.00 (this includes an insurance fee of $25.00)

Recreational Paddling: Wednesday evenings from May (after ice is off Dragon Lake) thru September. Meet at 5:30 pm for warm-up and we will be on the water from 6:00 to 7 pm. Pa

ddling is done at moderate pace using various drills to learn and practice the dragon boat stroke. Paddles are provided and life jackets are available to use as well if you don't have your own. Drop-In Paddling: First paddle is on us and then a fee of $10.00 per session…..come out and see if Dragonboat paddling is for you…..it’s a beautiful way to enjoy Dragon Lake





Competitive Team: Competitive practices are on Monday evenings from May thru September. Meet at 5:30 pm for warm-up and the boat leaves the dock at 6:00 pm for a 1 session. This team practices at a more intense pace to prepare for competition in a dragon boat festival. The team is looking to attend a one day festival over the summer…….Paddles and life jackets are available
*please note….no competitive team this year….so come out and join us either night

When thunder roars, go indoors. We're hearing thunder in the distance so unfortunately we have to cancel tonight's paddle (August 10). Hopefully Wednesday evening will be better 🙂

So how DO we get that dragon boat in the water? Come and see for yourself and paddle with us on Monday and/or Wednesday evenings. Pioneer Park gate opens at 5:30, closes at 5:45, on the water by 6:00. New paddlers are always welcome 🙂
