This is one we’ve been wanting to announce for a LONG time.

We really wanted to bring an event to Quesnel last year, but the timing just wasn’t right. Sometimes you’ve gotta wait until everything lines up — and 2026 IS THE YEAR! 🙌

🔥 BUCKIN AROUND BC PRESENTS: GOLD TOWN SHOWDOWN! 🔥

We’re bringing a full afternoon of roughstock action to Quesnel, featuring:

And because apparently we don’t know how to just call it a night after the rodeo… 😏

This is our FIRST EVER Gold Town Showdown, and we’re ready to make one hell of a first impression. 🔥

🎟️ Early Bird Tickets will be available online AND at Circle S Western Wear until September 17th! After that tickets are $5/ticket more at the gate!

Quesnel has supported Buckin Around BC, our competitors and the western community for years — so we are beyond excited to finally bring one of our events to our hometown. 🧡

There were some damn good rides, fast times and hard-fought placings throughout the night — and some hard earned money walked out of Prince George with these competitors. 💰🤠

Hitting the pavement today trying to hang posters for Bulls & Baby Buckers and WOW, we have been told no more times than we have been told yes. 🫠

These events bring customers to town. They support gas stations, restaurants, hotels, parts stores, and so much more. 🛒

If you’re a local business that’s open to a poster in your window, please drop a comment or send us a message. 🫶🏼

The 2nd Annual Bulls & Baby Buckers is coming back to the Williams Lake Stampede Grounds on September 12th! 🧡🤠

Last year was our first year putting this event on and it turned into something pretty special. We’re excited to be back for year two with another full day of rodeo action, all in recognition of Every Child Matters.

🎟️ GET YOUR TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME AND SAVE YOURSELF $5 PER TICKET!

Tickets are available online until September 10th at buckinaroundbc.com. After that, you can still get them at the gate, but they’ll be $5 more per ticket. If you’re bringing the whole family, that extra $5 each adds up pretty quick — so grab them online while you can!

🤠 FOR OUR COMPETITORS:

Mountain Race & Flat Race entries will go through April Lindley and open September 4th.

Entries for Bull Riding, Steer Riding, Wild Horse Racing, Wild Pony Racing and Mini Ba****ck will go through Buckin Around BC and open Saturday, August 29th.

🧡 A portion of gate admission from Bulls & Baby Buckers will be donated to the Orange Shirt Society in recognition of Every Child Matters.

We also want to make this part really clear so there’s no confusion: proceeds from the Beer Garden and Dance are NOT part of that donation. Those funds stay with Buckin Around BC and help us cover the costs of putting on the event.

We had such a great turnout last year and we’re hoping to pack those stands even more this time around!

So grab your tickets, round up your crew and come spend September 12th with us in Williams Lake. 🤠🔥

📣 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🤠🙌

Big City Bulls & Buckles is coming up THIS SATURDAY, and we could use a few extra hands to help us bring it all together!

We’re looking for a handful of volunteers to help with a variety of jobs during the event including:

Gates
50/50
Beer Gardens
Level 3 First Aid — our planned ones dropped out, we have the gear, just need a couple certified people!

And because good help deserves a little fun too… 👀

🎟️ Volunteer with us and we’ll hook you up with a FREE ticket to the dance that night! 🎶🍻🔥

It takes a whole crew behind the scenes to pull off an event like this, and every extra set of hands makes a difference.
