August 2025 Muskeg Falls.
On our way home from Davie Lk rec site, Tom made a detour so he could check out Muskeg Falls. We had both been there a few years prior. As I am not really a die-hard waterfall fan, and knew how gnarly the trail got at the end, I chose to wait for him in the truck. Lol, when I am not there to take pictures, he tries to think like me and get photos of the things I usually would...hence the abundance of foliage photos that he normally would not bother with.

August 2025 Davie Lk rec site with RTT.
The Rpod was out of commission again (waiting on delivery of new axle) so we reverted to the roof top tent on the utility trailer. I hate climbing up/down that ladder, and the crappy mattress, but I hate being stuck at home more. We headed out just before noon on an overcast, drizzly, 15C day. We stopped at McEwan Spring to fill up our 1 gallon water jugs. The water at that spring is usually only a bit more than a trickle, but this time it was pouring out in full force! We got to Davie Lk rec site just after 1pm. The drizzle had become a down pour so we sat in the truck to wait it out.

July 2025 Meanderings & Mishaps Pt 39 - Desert Hills, Horsting's & Home.
After 3 weeks of adventures, it was sadly time to go home. We needed to re-stock and for sure do laundry đŸ˜„ After leaving Barnes Lk rec site, we made our first ever stop at Desert Hills Ranch for produce. We now make a point to stop there whenever we are in the area.
