A FULL DAY OF AWESOME AT OTWAY THIS SATURDAY!

There is lots happening at Caledonia Nordic this weekend, so come on out and make a day of it!

Get your 2026–27 membership and program registrations sorted while saving the online processing fees. Stop by the lodge and we will get you all set for winter!

Mini Music Fest – Saturday Evening
Then we wrap up the day with live music in the Biathlon Range featuring Rabbit Soup and Danny Bell & His Disappointments!
Bring your camping chairs and blankets, pack some food, find a spot in the range and enjoy an evening of live music at Otway. Beverages and simple snacks will be available. No outside alcohol, please.

Unfortunately, Brandi and young Elliot are sick this weekend so we will no longer have B & E Eats in the lodge. Do not fear, they will return!

B & E Good Eats are back at the lodge this weekend!

Brandi and Eric are serving up some great food, fresh baked goods, smoothies, iced coffee and more. Whether you are out for a ride, a walk, a round of disc golf, or just looking for something good to eat, stop by the lodge and say hello!

This weekend’s hours:
Friday: 12:00–8:00 pm
Saturday: 9:30 am–6:00 pm
Sunday: 9:30 am–6:00 pm

Grab a bite and hang out for a bit, or take it to go. You definitely do not need to be out using the trails to stop by for food!

Criterium Practice Tonight!

A reminder that Criterium practice is back on the paved trails this evening (Friday, Aug 21) from 4:00 pm until dusk.

During the practice session, riders will be travelling the paved trails in REVERSE direction. The route will be marked, but please keep an eye out for riders moving quickly through the network, especially at the singletrack crossings.

Whether you are riding, running, walking or just out enjoying the singletrack trails, please look both ways, communicate and share the space.

And after your ride, B & E Good Eats will be at the lodge serving up some pretty great food. Stick around, grab something to eat and recharge!

Share the trails. Ride respectfully. Have fun!

🎶 LIVE MUSIC AT OTWAY! 🎶

We are pretty excited about this one! On Saturday, August 29, we are turning the Biathlon Range into our outdoor music venue for a great summer evening of live music featuring:

🎸 Rabbitt Soup
🪗 Danny Bell & His Disappointments

The stage will be set up right on the paved trail, with the audience settling into the Biathlon Range. Bring your camping chairs, blankets and whatever you need to get comfortable, find yourself a spot and enjoy the show!

Doors at 7:00 PM | Music at 7:30 PM
$25 cover

🥪 Bring your own food
🥨 Simple snacks and beverages will be available for purchase
🍺 Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase — no outside alcohol permitted

It should be a pretty awesome way to spend a late-summer evening at Otway. Great music, outdoors, and a venue that is going to look a little different than it does in the winter!

Weekend plans? We have you covered! 🚴‍♀️🍔

Friday evening is Criterium Training Night at Otway! The paved trails will be running in reverse from 4:00 pm until dusk, giving riders another chance to get some laps in and get familiar with the course before the Caledonia Criterium.

And this weekend there is another pretty great reason to come out to the club...

B & E Good Eats will be in the lodge!

Brandi and Eric will be serving up some amazing food Friday evening until about 8:00 pm and throughout the weekend from roughly 9:00 am–5:00 pm.

Come out for Criterium practice, a mountain bike ride, walk, run, roller ski, round of disc golf... whatever gets you out to Otway. Then head into the lodge and refuel.

Or just come for the food. That is completely acceptable too.

Ride. Play. Eat. Sounds like a pretty good weekend at Otway!

Criterium Practice Starts Tonight!

A quick reminder that the first Caledonia Criterium practice night is happening this evening starting at 4:00 pm and continuing until sunset.

During the practice, riders will be travelling the paved trails in reverse. Signs will be posted to help let trail users know what is happening.

If you are out on the singletrack this evening, please take extra care at the crossings, watch for cyclists on the paved trails, and remember that riders may be approaching from the opposite direction than you are used to.

Please ride respectfully, be aware of others, and share the trails. Have fun out there!

Something new is coming to Caledonia Nordic!

We are excited to partner with the Prince George Cycling Club to host the Caledonia Criterium on Sunday, September 13!

Fast, fun and a little different! Whether you are a seasoned cyclist, new to racing, or just looking for a fun challenge, there is a category for you.

Three race categories
Cash preems & prizes
Practice nights leading up to the event
$25 entry fee supporting both clubs' race programs

Registration is coming soon!

A reminder that during Friday practice nights (Starting Aug 7), the paved trails will be travelled in reverse. Please be aware of riders coming from the opposite direction, use extra caution at the singletrack crossings, and share the trails respectfully.

A big thank you to the and the myPG Community Grant program for supporting safety improvements at Caledonia Nordic!

With grant funding, we were able to upgrade signage throughout our paved trail network to help alert users to athletes on course, the biathlon range in use, and trail crossings. These improvements increase awareness and help make the facility safer for everyone enjoying our year-round trails.

Thank you for helping us create a safer, more welcoming place for our community!
