🌟PA OF THE WEEK: CHARLOTTE!🌟

We’re kicking off our PA of the Week series by celebrating the skaters who help make our CanSkate and PreCanSkate programs so special!

Our Program Assistants (PAs) play an important role in helping our youngest skaters learn, grow, and feel confident on the ice. They help get groups organized and moving, demonstrate skills, encourage little skaters when things feel tricky, and bring lots of positive energy to the rink. They’re a big part of creating a fun and supportive environment for our newest skaters!

And this week, we’re excited to introduce Charlotte!

Charlotte is a figure skater with Northern BC Centre for Skating — she is fantastic at getting her little groups going on the ice, and she brings such a positive attitude every time she steps out there. We love having her help our youngest skaters find their feet, try new things, and have fun while learning.

A few fun facts about Charlotte:
🌟Favourite after-skate snack: Goldfish crackers
✨Not a fan of: Pickles or sushi
💪Favourite thing about skating: That it allows her to be good at doing the hard stuff!

We love her favourite part about skating because we think that says so much about what skating is all about. Learning to do hard things, building confidence, and discovering what you’re capable of — one skate at a time 🤍

Help us congratulate Charlotte on being our very first PA of the Week! We’re so glad to have her as part of our skating community.

Behind every strong skating club is a community that shows up for its skaters, and we’re so thankful for the businesses that help make that possible! ⛸️

Thank you to Tasa Custom Fabrication for supporting Northern BC Centre for Skating throughout the 2026/2027 season as an Elite Sponsor!

Your generosity helps us continue building a club where skaters can grow, push themselves, make friendships, and find confidence both on and off the ice.

We’re proud to have local businesses like you in our corner and so grateful to have you as part of the NBCCS family this season. Thank you for investing in our skaters and our community! 🫶
