With our false spring come and gone it’s contest time!!
What date do you think our course will open for the 2026 season?! If you guess correctly your name will be entered into a draw (with other correct entries) for 4 free 18 hole green fees WITH CART to be used during the 2026 golf season (valid May to October).
This is a great chance for one of our members to share our great course with some friends or a chance for some public golfers to come and check out our little gem, ON THE HOUSE!
All you need to do is comment on this post the date you think we will open. Entries will be accepted until Friday, March 27th, limit to one entry per person.

One last Christmas Party tonight at the Club. Tonight we celebrate Christmas and the holidays with our staff. We couldn’t do anything without them and tonight the Management Team and Board of Directors get to show our appreciation! Thank you to Katarina’s for the beautiful cake as well as a big shout out to our Head Chef Alex for a wonderful meal!

Prescott Golf Club is a Semi-Private Golf Club – 18 Holes, Par 70 – for Men and Par 71 for Women. Features 4 sets of tees. Slope Rating 121 and a 69.6 USGA rating measuring 6184 yards. Located just steps from the St. Lawrence River on the edge of the town in Prescott, Ontario, Canada. Course is first to open and last to close due to the excellent drainage. We are known for our excellent course conditions with fast true greens and friendly staff. Our course is a mix of the old style course and new wider fairways and greens, offering a challenge to all levels of players.

Junior Golf - We have some of the best Junior golfers in the region, players who are very successful at the intersectional level, with several winners and second placers. Prescott Pro Bill Minkhorst and a member Phil Patterson coach the Juniors. Golf in Schools, whether it’s indoors or outdoors the Golf in Schools Program is bringing the game of golf to Canadian schools. This program has been developed for teachers to provide students the opportunity to develop aspects of “physical literacy” related to the sport of golf, and increase student knowledge and appreciation for the sport of golf.
The Golf in Schools Program was created by Golf Canada in partnership with PGA of Canada and Physical and Health Education Canada (PHE Canada).
Golf Shop - Bill Minkhorst is the Head Professional and Manager of the Golf Shop. Thom Miller is the Executive Professional. Bill will help you with your game, with lessons on our practice range and putting greens. The shop focuses on the sale of soft goods – balls, shoes, putters, clothing, hats, umbrellas and toques for the Fall. We can special order any clubs you want at competitive prices. Club storage and buckets of range balls are available. We have a cart fleet of 72 golf carts, push carts, all which are available for touraments and green fee players.
Restaurant, Banquet and Bar Facilities - Not a worry for you if you bring your ideas to us here at Prescott Golf Club and let our hospitality team handle all the details. The venue boasts high ceilings, wrap around windows, has a beautiful scenic view of our lush golf course in the summer and a winter wonderland in the snow. The spacious dining area with the kitchen and bar centrally located adjacent also has a dance floor at the west side of the room. We are open year round. You are able to custom make our venue as special, unique or particular as you desire whatever your style.
