Trees are incredible!

They seed and grow down first. Into the darkness, then up. They are always growing in both directions. Always.

They anchor and hold, grow a strong root base, expand wide to grow tall and strong. The darkness is as much of their light. Without this foundation they can't withstand the inevitable storms.

Without the darkness we can not dance in the winds. To expand is to grow in multiple directions. To honor our light is to honor our darkness.

Wild roots. Wild us. Stand in all you are.
