🎉🎉 Happy New Year!! 🎉🎉 We've been busy creating a new website to start off 2026! But some things never change — the smell of cedar, the sound of water against a wooden hull, the care that goes into every detail.

Our website has a fresh new look, but at our core, we’re still the same family-run boat builders we’ve always been. The same traditions and commitment to building cedar strip boats the right way — thoughtfully and to be enjoyed for generations.

This update simply gives us a better way to share our story, our boats, and the craft we’re proud to carry forward.

We’re getting ready for grill & ☀️🛶 season!! Make sure to visit us for a tour of the shop & and to pick up a one-of-a-kind charcuterie board and grill scraper so you’re ready too! Both are handcrafted in the shop, with the same skill and care as our boats.

Spring is on the way. The first thing we do each spring is prep the cedar strips. These boats are the finest on the water but they do require a lot of love and sweat. Because of this, many lodges have abandoned these boats all together. We believe the cedar strips are an integral part to the wilderness experience Mar Mac offers.
