Well that was a full night of good hard racing!
Melcolm went out for his hot laps and was 5th quickest in his group and 10th overall. This would have him start 4th in his heat.
His heat race was packed with some good competitors. The green flag would drop & our car shot out like a rocket. By half way our front right rim filled with dirt which gave our driver a wicked vibration. He would hold on to finish in P6.
Feature time was where the excitement & tough racing would be seen. Our driver would start in P12 with a full field of veteran drivers. The field would take the green at full speed. Lap by lap Melcolm would pick off cars and sling that mud around the highside. Consistent laps would have him taking the checkered in P9. Another top 10 finish for our resume.
